Is the Bridger fully waterproof?

Yes. The Bridger uses a functional waterproof shell fabric that can withstand a 10,000 mm (10K) water column before being penetrated. Its seams are sealed with adhesive waterproof tape to help prevent water from entering through the stitching. The fabric is also finished with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, which changes the surface tension so water forms droplets that roll off rather than being absorbed.

How do the Bridger's two technical fabrics complement each other?

The Bridger combines smooth Matte Technical Taffeta with contrast Stretch Ripstop panels. The Taffeta is exceptionally lightweight and packable, while the Ripstop adds durability and two-way mechanical stretch in areas where greater mobility is useful. Both fabrics are STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified and incorporate GRS-certified recycled materials.

What makes the Bridger breathable?

Breathability describes how effectively the membrane transfers moisture vapour from inside to outside the garment. It is measured in grams per square metre over 24 hours (g/m²/24h); functional fabrics commonly begin at 10,000 g/m²/24h, with higher ratings such as 20K or 30K allowing greater moisture transfer. The open back yoke with mesh ventilation promotes easy airflow.
